Measure affiliate performance by connecting each campaign link to a verifiable source report. Keep clicks, registrations, qualifying events, approved commission and paid amounts distinct. If the operator does not supply a metric, mark it unavailable instead of estimating it from a conversion ratio.

Define the funnel first

A click is a visit through your tracked link. A registration is an operator-reported sign-up. FTD usually means first-time depositor, but the offer must define the qualifying conditions. Approved conversions have passed the agreed checks. Commission is a commercial result; a payout is a separate financial event.

Keep attribution stable

Use the operator-supported partner identifier, subID or click ID. A short link alone does not establish attribution to a deposit. Avoid sending email addresses or other personal information in URL parameters.

Read a report critically

Manual CSV reporting can be useful when the source and validation are clear.

  1. Check the reporting period, currency and source.
  2. Match partner and offer identifiers.
  3. Validate unique external event IDs.
  4. Separate pending and approved status.
  5. Review unknown identifiers and errors before applying.
  6. Keep a journal of imports and later corrections.

Use comparisons that mean something

Compare equivalent time periods, channels and definitions. Show the update timestamp and identify a daily manual import as such. Do not describe a small or incomplete dataset as a proven trend. Measure the work required as well as the commission so you can judge whether a process is sustainable.

Avoid duplicate revenue

A repeated report must not create repeated commission. Keep source events idempotent and record corrected results as traceable adjustments. Terms changes should affect only the events covered by the new version, rather than retroactively changing old calculations.
