Casino affiliate advertising: what to check before buying traffic

A campaign checklist for gambling-related Google Ads and other paid sources: country, certification, operator permission, destination and tracking.

By Win CommissionUpdated 29 October 20263 min readEditorial method
THE SHORT ANSWER

Before buying casino affiliate traffic, confirm that the product and destination are permitted in the target country, that the advertising platform accepts the campaign and that the programme allows your source. Google applies gambling certification and country-specific conditions. An affiliate account or a working advertising account alone does not establish those permissions.

Separate three decisions

The programme accepts a source, the advertising platform accepts the advertiser and campaign, and the intended activity must meet the rules that apply in the target market. One approval does not substitute for another. Build the campaign only after identifying the exact operator, audience and destination, rather than assuming a broad category permission.

Google Ads: read the country and product conditions

Google's gambling and games policy distinguishes products and eligible locations. Certification requirements and destination conditions must be checked for the campaign itself. Use the current country-specific section and application instructions. Do not infer permission from a competitor's visible ad or from a certification for a different destination.

Other platforms need their own check

For Meta and other paid sources, check the current gambling policy and the approval process directly before launch. The linked Meta policy was rate-limited during this review, so this guide does not certify its current detailed requirements. An ad-library listing is research material, not a permission record.

Make the launch decision explicit

Keep a single campaign sheet. This prevents a production team from treating a draft destination as a cleared launch.

Use the same campaign for reviewers and visitors

Do not hide a destination from reviewers, replace blocked accounts with fabricated identities or change the advertised offer after approval without the required review. These tactics do not establish a durable acquisition business. A transparent original landing page should explain the product and commercial relationship before a visitor follows the link.

Only then test the economics

Campaign permission is a prerequisite, not proof of positive contribution. Start with a bounded test and reconcile actual costs against confirmed qualifying results. Keep a control and repeat promising results before increasing the spend.

  • Run a comparable two-offer test
  • Apply with your source and audience countries

Sources & review notes

Primary programme terms and platform policies can change. External examples do not establish Win Commission rates or offer availability. How we research and review.

  1. Google Ads: gambling and games policyChecked 29 October 2026. Requirements depend on the advertised product and target country.
  2. Meta: online gambling and games advertising policyChecked 29 October 2026. The live policy returned a rate-limit error during review. Check the current policy and your permission before launch.
